Difford’s Shop is a specialist off-licence in Sherbourne Valley, Northiam. We’re on Hastings Road (A28) as you drive out of the village towards Hastings, and we have a car park.
Our wine selection offers a delicious choice of wines, a little more special than the supermarket-style wines from large producers. We always have bottles open so you can try before you buy.
Our beer range is led by local breweries, with some Belgian and speciality beers as well. Not forgetting non-alcoholic beers.
We also have fresh ale drawn straight from the cask or keg and sold in 1-litre (1¾ pints) and 2-litre (3½ pints) containers to enjoy at home.
A family-run business since 1997, the shop is our latest (ad)venture and the little sister to Difford’s Guide; the world’s leading cocktail website, where you can find thousands of recipes and articles. Fittingly, our shop boasts one of the country’s largest ranges of quality cocktail ingredients, bar tools and elegant glassware.
